Exclusively made in Tamegroute, Morocco, each piece of pottery is unique, with its own marks and textures created during the firing process. The three "chip" marks which appear on the rim of each pot are an example of the handmade nature - they come from where the pots are separated after being stacked in the kiln.
The clay is sourced locally to the artisans in Morocco, shaped by hand, fired in kilns using wood or dried olive pits, and finally glazed with a mixture of minerals like copper oxide to achieve the distinctive green colour.
These pots have no drainage hole and are not frost proof, so are suitable for indoor use as a nursery pot cover only.
