This rich brown pedestal bowl is designed to bring height and presence to a table or kitchen counter top, creating a natural focal point. Its elevated form lends itself beautifully to displaying fruit and vegetables or as a natural centrepiece, while the softly charred finish adds depth and warmth.
A controlled flame is applied to the surface to achieve a gently burnt finish, enhancing the visibility of the grain and creating a rich, charred effect. The process is carried out with care to avoid deep scorching, before the piece is sanded back to remove any roughness.
