'Variegata' is a variety of Arachniodes that's happy both indoors and out. It's sturdy, glossy fronds make it a hardier fern than most, and much less susceptible to browning and wilting foliage. It will stay a relatively small plant, spreading to around 30cm with a max height of around 50cm. Water when the top inch of soil has dried out and plant into a houseplant mix. Cut back any dying fronds to encourage new growth, and feed during spring and summer to keep it healthy. Bright but indirect light or shade suit this vibrant fern well.
