Our Wedding Flower Design Process, Step by Step

We’ll start with a relaxed consultation to discuss initial ideas so that we can get to know you, your style, your vision, and get a feel for the venue if you have one. From there we will create a visual moodboard based on your preferences, with a custom floral plan that will detail the selection of flowers, how they will be arranged, and the arrangements we propose as an itemised quote. This stage is very much a ‘yes/no’ process and we find it’s much easier to get a feel for your own preferences once you have this moodboard to visualise the whole arrangement. Once you decide that you would like to go ahead with us, we ask for a deposit to secure the booking and the date. From there, flowers, arrangements and style can be changed as much as you like. There’s no limit to making changes, guaranteeing the final selection will be exactly what you envisage.

When to Finalise Your Wedding Flowers

We usually recommend finalising your wedding flowers at least one month ahead of your big day, although you can make as many changes as you like up to two weeks ahead of your wedding date if necessary. After this point we will finalise your selection, then source and prepare your bespoke flower arrangements.

Whilst you can change the design up to two weeks before the wedding, we do recommend you confirm well before to ensure adequate preparations can be made. Flowers and floral arrangements must be finalised no less than two weeks before the wedding. During the month leading up to the wedding you are welcome to visit the shop to see the flowers in person.
