This Calathea is one of the plants known as the prayer plant, as it's leaves hang down during the daylight hours and stand up in the evening.
Calathea are usually found on jungle floors, in a damp and humid environment. They like indirect or filtered light, and watering once the top 3 inches of the soil have dried out. They prefer a warm and humid spot, so mist regularly if not in a bathroom.
