Anthurium are a very easy going plant in the right conditions. They are natural epiphytes, meaning they grow on the trunk of another plant in the wild, so need minimal watering and don't require regular re-potting. They are prone to root rot so be sure to plant into a well draining compost and let the soil dry out between waterings. Regular to high levels of humidity are preferable for Anthurium, but in a dryer space make sure to up the moisture in the air using a tray with pebbles and water. House your Anthurium in an area with bright but indirect light and avoid draughts. It will tolerate dappled light and some direct sun in the mornings or evenings.
